GEETHA KANNAN, M.D.

Dr. Kannan completed her medical education, internship and Obstetric and Gynecology Residency in her home country of India. After moving to Barbados, West Indies where she practiced as a family physician specializing in maternal and child health services, Dr. Kannan moved to the United States. She completed her Anesthesiology Residency at University of Massachusetts Medical Center and stayed on as Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology prior to relocating to Orlando. She is Board certified in Anesthesiology.

Dr. Kannan joined Anesthesiologists of Greater Orlando in 2002 and has been providing anesthesia services at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children & Women, Lucerne Medical Center, South Seminole Hospital, Orlando Surgery Center and Florida Surgery Center since then.

Dr. Kannan spends much of her free time with her husband and two teenage children. In addition, she is learning Spanish so that she can communicate better with her patients.
