J. MICHAEL VERLANDER, JR, M.D.
Dr. Verlander attended medical school at University of Florida in
Gainesville and completed his anesthesiology residency in 1982 at the
University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. He is Board-Certified
in Anesthesiology with Subspecialty Certification in Pain Management, and
also holds his Certification in Addiction Medicine.
His primary practice is as a staff anesthesiologist at South Seminole
Hospital, Lucerne Medical Center and Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children &
Women, Orlando Surgery Center and Florida Surgery Center. Additionally, he
provides pain management services at Florida Surgery Center where he serves
as Medical Director. Previously, Dr. Verlander has served as Medical
Director of several central Florida pain management and behavioral health
facilities.
Dr. Verlander enjoys traveling, mountain biking, snow boarding, wake
boarding, music and gardening. He is married with two children.
